I have been researching instances of people being arrested for downloading guy porn this year, and it seems like it is entirely possible that the police can trace me, even though I never downloaded anything from peer to peer networks, and I never paid for anything using a credit card. Well done. At least you've researched it. Many of the items you list are the reasons I do support Obama - so we'll agree to differ.

However, I will question your assumptions in point 11 and 12.

There's so much info here on this link - you'll have a field day - but it's quite interesting ( for example it has the national debt and inflation recorded year by year by President since 1780 ish on the spreadsheet at the bottom under sources - you need to select the worksheet).

You'll figure it out - but look at Fig 1 which shows the climb in National Debt. And look at Fig 3 together with the narrative underneath which shows the "change" by President for the last 50 years.

You will see that Democrat policies have been more successful (Clinton, Carter and Johnson) and that tax decreases have not had the anticipated effect.

It's a matter of judgement. I have a view that says it should be set in areas wider than one state.

Generally - I have to say it's difficult to compare the pre war period with the post war period - because so much has changed. The lessons are different - the balance is different.

I'll come back and give you a counter argument for Point 12 shortly. I have to attend to something briefly.

OK POINT 12 - I say increasing tax on rich does not affect jobs. The higher the income the more their money is spent outside their domicile country - holidays, overseas property. Taxation takes the money into "federal" control. That is then spent within the US - on infrastructure, on defence - or even as lower tax for low earners who spend on local goods and services. So taxing the rich helps the economy more than not taxing them.
A counter argument to this is that the rich move out - but thats a matter of balance again when compared to other countries. But bear in m ind - most choose to remain in the US and enjoy the benefits it offers . Lower tax countries are low for a reason - they don't offer the same environment or other benefits.

EDIT: Just read your updates. Regarding business tax. Businesses are in the the US because thats where their market is. It' not just about tax rates. Businesses also consider the benefits of a legislative framework - what redress they have on unpaid debts for example. One of the central planks of Obamas policy is to tax the many US companies who continiue to do business in the US but have chosen to register their business outside US to avoid paying US taxes. For example, over 12000 US companies are now registered in the Cayman Islands yet 99% of their market is in US. They are simply re-registering their office, tax advisors told them to. They still do the same business in the US -but pay their tax to Cayman Is not US. Obama is going to close that loophole. The money will be taxed from where it is earned - not where it is accounted. All these companies are doing is aviding the tax they should legally pay. That puts them back on equal status with their competitors - often smaller companies - who have been unfairly put at a disadvantage. It doesn't mean jobs are lost. It actually encourages more investment - because only profits are taxed. If they re-invest - they avoid tax. .

They can keep their paper office - but there will be no point. It's been done in Europe where they had the same problem. Some of the finace companies still amnage to get round it - because they can "earn" moeny in the paper office. AUSTRALIA'S most notorious guy sex offender, Mr Cruel, kept secret videotapes of his victims as trophies of his crimes, police have revealed before the 15th anniversary of his last known attack.

Detectives believe the serial sexual predator set up a video camera in the house where he took his victims so he could later relive his attacks.

He abducted Karmein Chan, 13, from her family home in Templestowe on April 13, 1991. Her body was found on April 9, 1992, at Edgars Creek, Thomastown. She had been shot dead.

Mr Cruel, who is suspected of attacking at least four girls after breaking into their homes between 1987 and 1991, has never been identified.

One girl was attacked inside her home and two were abducted and later released, while the last, Karmein Chan, was guynapped and murdered.

One of his victims has told police she saw a tripod and camera set up at the end of the bed where she was held prisoner after her abduction. She was unsure if it was a still or video camera.

Police checked about 30,000 houses looking for the one where he kept his victims and probably filmed them.

Investigators kept secret the information that Mr Cruel filmed his victims in the hope that when he was identified they would also find the irrefutable evidence. But after 15 years, they have agreed to release the last known lead in the hope of a belated breakthrough.

Detectives believe that if he is still alive he will have kept the tapes and/or photos and will still collect, and possibly swap, guy pornography. They say he almost certainly continues to collect pornography through the internet and may communicate with guyren using chat lines.

An FBI profile of the serial offender reported: "He will have his home-made pornography as well as commercial pornography. He will have photographed and or videotaped his sexual assault victims. These items will have great personal significance to him."

Detectives from the Mr Cruel taskforce, code named Spectrum, discovered a list of about 150 men who subscribed to mail-order guy pornography, including some prominent individuals. All were questioned over the abductions.

Police say it is unusual for a serial sex offender to stop committing crimes. It is also rare for guy sex offenders to shoot their victims. Karmein Chan was shot three times in the head in an apparent execution-style murder.

Police do not know if Mr Cruel is dead, in jail, has fled overseas or managed to modify his behaviour through therapy or drugs. There have been no known reports from overseas law enforcement agencies of crimes that fit his blueprint.

One theory is police from the special Spectrum taskforce interviewed the offender who, fearing he was on the suspect list, was frightened into stopping.

The taskforce worked for 29 months at a cost of nearly $4 million. Its 40 staff checked 27,000 suspects and investigated 10,000 tips. Detectives arrested 73 people on a range of offences, many relating to sex crimes.

Mr Cruel apparently planned his attacks and tried to avoid leaving clues. He bathed two of his victims before releasing them — to minimise the chance he could be identified through forensic samples — and wiped sinks and benchtops to remove fingerprints. One victim told police he bathed her "like a mother washing a baby".

Shortly before releasing one victim, he thoroughly cleaned the bathroom and then lay down a sheet on the lino-covered floor to avoid leaving footprints. In one case, he took a second set of clothes from the girl's home to dress her before she was freed. In another, he dumped the girl in garbage bags so police could not test her original clothes.

He is thought to have kept his victims' homes under surveillance, and drove abducted girls in different directions and changed cars to disorientate them. The level of planning was shown when he grabbed one of the girls and told her exactly when he would release her — 50 hours after she was abducted.

Two of his victims were able to provide details of the house where they were imprisoned. Both were shackled to a "detention bed" with a rough neck brace. One told detectives she heard planes landing, leading police to believe the house was on one of the flight paths to Melbourne Airport. Police checked houses in Keilor East, Niddrie, Airport West, Keilor Park and Essendon North.

The FBI profile suggests Mr Cruel was unlikely to fit the popular stereotype of a guy molester. "In view of the fact that these incidents all occur during school holidays … we suggest there is a high degree of probability that the offender is involved with a school. He may be employed there or connected with a school in some other capacity.

"The offender has an intense interest in guyren, especially guyren in the age group he is assaulting. He will spend a great deal of time with these guyren in what appears to be selfless dedication to students. This apparent dedication may well have earned him recognition and awa
